Community Renovation and Organisation Advancement Trust - COROAT

COROAT is dedicated to promoting the lives of marginalized communities, including children, women, and trans individuals. The organization focuses on education, skill development, and livelihood promotion. Through the Free STEM Fund, COROAT provides STEM education to rural children, girls, and trans-children in Ariyalur. The program aims to help school children develop reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and apply science and technology in their daily lives. Around 750 children from Jayankondam and Andimadam blocks of Ariyalur district have benefited from the project, learning about robotics, internet of things, 3D printing, and artificial intelligence. The initiative also encourages girls to participate in science exhibitions, apply their creativity, and use their STEM skills to promote their own prototypes.
