The Girl Child Values Support Initiative

The Girl Child Values Support Initiative’s transgenerational project “STEMinist for Social Good” seeks to empower young women, including young women with disabilities aged 18 to 25 to use STEM skills to create solutions to the problems in their communities and their world at large. They aim to bridge the gap in STEM skills by illuminating crisis-affected young girls' minds towards innovation and gender equality. The project intends to inspire 100 young women to use STEM skills with an emphasis on technology to create transformative change in their communities, participants will work with industry experts to create a mobile application called ''Her Safe Route'' a disability-friendly app with 4 unique features clustered in one system; An online platform, Storytelling feature, Rapid response on violence, and an online community.
