Kunhã Asé Network of Women in Science has developed the “Sowing Science” project to promote inclusive science education. With discussions on gender disparity in science, the project reached around 735 people in its three editions, considering students, teachers, and administrative staff. They propose the fourth edition of the Sowing Science project, entitled "Sowing Science: traditional communities and global changes", which will be developed over the 2023/2024 school calendar. They aim to expand their discussions from gender disparity to diversity and inclusion in STEM fields and approach global change, sustainability, and governance with some of the most socio-environmentally vulnerable groups in Brazil. Therefore, by working collectively, they aim to empower local young people to become leaders, promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM fields and better living conditions for their communities in a changing world.
