House of Our Pride

The House of Our Pride Project aims to inspire and mentor young schoolgirls to pursue careers in STEM. They have identified a girls’ school in Eswatini that they will visit to take advantage of their career guidance and life orientation classes to teach more about STEM careers with the help of women who are already working in the field of STEM. They will also be visiting universities in the country that offer STEM programs and engaging with LBQ (Lesbian, Bisexual, and Queer) women who are already thriving in STEM careers. University students will mentor high school girls, while experienced women in STEM will mentor LBQ women aspiring to join the field. Additionally, they will engage men in leadership positions who will provide guidance on leadership skills and the importance of choosing STEM careers as women.
